FABRIC RECOMMENDATIONS

For sewing these pants, we recommend using lightweight fabric : silk, satin, viscose, cotton, linen. You will also need threads in the color of the fabric, an elastic in a waistband 4.5 cm (1,77 in) wide.

Fabric consumption is calculated taking into account the layout with a fabric width of 1.4 meters. When buying fabric, keep in mind that the material can shrink, so take with a margin of 5-10%.

SEWING INSTRUCTIONS

1. Mark the lines along the waistband.

2. Iron the interfacing to the place of the buttonholes on the wrong side of the Front pants details.

3. Sew buttonholes.

4. Iron the interfacing tape to the pocket opening on the wrong side of the Front pants details.

5. Pin pocket piece to the front pants detail with the right sides together, aligning the notches. Sew in place, leaving 1 cm of seam allowances at the bottom of the pocket piece. Understitch seam allowances to the pocket piece.

Press it.

6. Pin pocket piece to the back pants detail with the right sides together, aligning the notches. Sew in place, leaving 1 cm of seam allowances at the bottom of the pocket piece. Understitch seam allowances to the pocket piece.

Press it.

7. Pin Front and Back pants details with the right sides together, align the pocket pieces. Stitch the rounded edges of the octet pieces and side edges of the Front and Back pants details.

8.Trim seam allowance of the Back pants at the bottom of the pocket piece. Pin aside.

9.Serge the raw edges of the pocket and outseam.

10.Serge the pocket side seam allowances separately.

11. Press seam allowances to the Back. 

12.Pin inseam of the Front and Back pants with the right sides together, aligning the notches. Stitch it and then serge the raw edges. Press seam allowances to the Back.

13. Turn one half of the pants on the right side. Put one into another. Match the right side of the pants details.

14. Pin the Pants details along the crotch seam with the right sides together, aligning the notches. Stitch with sewing machine. Serge the raw edges. Press seam allowances to the side.

15. Measure the length of elastic. Add 2 cm (0,79″) of seam allowances.

16. Stitch elastic into the ring.

17. Divide elastic into 4 equal parts. Make markings.

18. Pin elastic to the waistline raw edge, aligning the markings with seams. Serge in place, stretching elastic.

19. Fold elastic inward and pin.

20. Stitch along the waistband lines, stretching elastic.

21. Thread the cord through the buttonholes.

22. Fold the bottom hem of the pants twice and pin. Top stitch the folded hem.

Press it.
